On April 30, 2022 at the General Assembly of the EUMA in Skopje Prof. Dr. Jovica Ugrinovski, became honorary member of the EUMA. He supported the EUMA from the beginning on and could be called as one of the birth givers of the EUMA. Furthermore, he was the long-time president of the North Macedonian Mountaineering Federation, founder and long-term president of the Balkan Mountaineering Union-BMU. Apparat from his crucial contributions for mountaineering he was a international honored neurosurgery and a full professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje. He was the founder and chairman of the Board of Directors of "Neuromedika".
We have learned with deep sadness of the death of Dr. Ugrinovski, who died after a serious illness on November 29, 2022 at the age of 77, and was buried at the Butel city cemetery in Skopje. Our dear Jovica Ugrinovski rest in peace.
