As part of the European Week of Sport 2025, we at EUMA took the #BeActive spirit to new heights — quite literally!
Between 23 and 30 September, mountaineers from 10 European countries climbed some of the continent’s most beautiful peaks, raising four flags at each summit:

Together, these 10 teams ascended over 15,000 metres — that’s three times the height of Mont Blanc (4,808 m)!
The “10 Peaks – 10 Flags” challenge was a bold celebration of energy, teamwork, and unity, showcasing how mountaineering embodies the #BeActive message: accessible, sustainable, inclusive, and non-competitive.
